R. Mutt is the new incarnation of John Neville's former project, Spaghetti Western. Neville--most often a drummer in the past--loves a good beat and carefully constructed lyrical sketches. Sometimes oblique in angle, R. Mutt finds its sounds in many places, but hopefully remains unmistakably informed by Neville's home environs in the piedmont of North Carolina.
